Who We Are
We are 2 people who just love and want help place dogs in need. We believe all dogs deserve a family. We have been involved in volunteering, fostering, and transporting dogs for various other groups for some time. There is such a need in our rural area and since we are constantly approached, we decided to start "Cause for Paws Rescue".
WE are in the process of becoming a 501C3, a not for profit organization.

Welcome to Cause for Paws Rescue!
So youve visited pet finder and have come across one of our "orphans" that you may be interested in.
Whats next? We send you an application. Once completed and returned, we will process your application by checking previous vet records and/or personal references.
Prior to the official Adoption, the prospective Adopter will speak with or meet with the foster and schedule a time to meet with our orphans.
Since it is our main goal, NOT to set a family or a dog up for failure,a home visit is required, it is usually pre-arranged with the foster at that time, to bring our orphan to your home to see if it is a good fit.
This is merely a time for questions and answers and a visit, not an
inspection of your home.
If this is a good match, we complete the contract and payment is made via check or cash. You are then given a two-week conditional trial-period to return our dog if this is not working out.
-+NO refunds will be given after that time frame..
Please note, filling out an application does NOT guarantee an adoption. We have thoroughly evaluated our orphans that are in our care and try very hard to match the right pet to the right family and situation. We reserve the right not to adopt.
