This month, our featured pet is Frank. Frank is a 4 month old, black and white tuxedo cat that was found with a broken front leg. The surgery went fine and he just got his pin out of his leg that fixed the fracture. He is very, very playful and loves to play with everything, including Q-tips and cottonballs. He gets along with other cats, but a little nervous around dogs. He also loves people!

Who We Are
Champaign County Animal Control opened in July of 2005 to house the stray dogs and cats of Champaign County Illinois. All incoming animals are housed for 7 days in our facility. If the animals go unclaimed, our adoptable cats and dogs are transferred to rescue groups or put up for adoption.
Adopting a friend
All of our cats are tested negative for leukemia and FIV, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and checked by our veterinarian prior to adoption. We ask an adoption fee of $75 to cover the costs of these services. At this time we are adopting cats and kittens only. We will soon offer dogs for adoption as well. Contact Dr. Reid at Animal Control for further details on adopting at (217)-384-3798.
