News...Please help us make room to save more!!! we are full to capacity and we are having to watch pets die because we are not able to save them. It is a harsh reality to animal rescue and we need your help. Every pet listed here was saved on his/her last day of life. Many are now dying because we have no room. Consider the circle when making your choice. Adopting a pet from us means that two lives will be spared. the one you take home and the one you make room for. Thank you
Who Are We...We are a Rescue which means we physically go and save lives. Hope pulls animals on their last day of life from animal control facilities that still use the inhumane gas chamber to put to death homeless pets. We lobby our government to ban the use of such chambers for they are cruel. For anyone who does not understand how a gas chamber works we can tell you that they do not die immediately, they do not die peacefully, they die thrown together with cats, dogs, puppies all trying to escape the chamber and breath. It is much like being suffocated. Please help, write your congressman, write your mayor, be active in this and help us to stop the cruelty.h3>
Adopting a Friend...To be approved for adopting one of our pets you must be open to Hope Rescues doing a home visit. Check up calls also are needed. You must own your home for we cannot adopt to renters unless you provide proof that you are allowed pets and you have no intentions of moving to a complex which does not allow them in the future.
