Girl Scout Troop 104 is hosting a fundraising event on June 13th at the Yorkville Farmers Market (rt. 47 and West Center St.) from 8 a.m. to noon. They will be selling raffle tickets, home made buscuits and tug toys. They are also collecting items from our Wish List. Stop by and meet some of our adoptable dogs!
Who We Are
Fur Angels Animal Sanctuary is devoted to saving lives. We rescue from kill shelters, animal controls, and owner surrenders. We are a small rescue who cares for all our pets in foster homes. We do NOT have a facility & all animals are seen by appointment only, after an application has been approved.
What make us also unqiue is that we also work with deaf animals since we have the knowledge of sign language and the knowledge of deafness to work with them very well. They respond extremely well to sign language. If any animal are deaf listed on petfinder, they will be marked as special need, and their bio will state so. Unfortunately for the deaf animals they are first to be put to sleep despite their highly trainable nature and intelligence. We also work with other exotic animals. We are a 501(c)3 rescue.

Adopting a friend
Each one of the animals are spayed/neutered, with all vaccinations prior to adoption. They have been tested for temperment. Adoption application, vet reference check and home visit are all required prior to adoption.

Come Visit Us!
Animals are available for meeting at set appointments. If you are interested in any of the animals, contact me, and an adoption application will be sent to you. The animal can be brought to your home or at a meeting place for you to meet the animal.
