Spay/Neuter Program
The Spay / Neuter program is for all Dogs & Cats adopted from the Vermilion County Animal Shelter. The New owner only pays $30.00 for spaying or neutering. The remainder of the expence is paid by the Vermilion County Animal Shelter Foundation
The following are included in the cost of adopting: Adoption fee, Rabies vaccination, Rabies tag, Distemper vaccination, Deworming, Health exam by local veterinarian and the spay or Neuter of the animal adopted
From Danville go south on Gilbert St. to the Tilton turn off. Follow the road through Tilton, cross railroad tracks go aprox 1 mile. The shelter will be on the right side of the road.
From the south take Rt. 1 to the 14th Street exit. Turn left onto 14th St. Take 14th St to the stop sign. Turn left onto 5th St. Go approximately 2 miles. The shelter will be on the right side of the road.
From the East or West take Interstate 74 to exit 214 (the G Street exit). Go south to 5th Street. Turn right and go west over the railroad tracks then approximately 1 mile. The shelter is on the right side of the road.
From Catlin go towards Tilton. The Shelter is on the left side of the road, across from the County Nursing Home and the new Grade School.
