Friday - 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm - hosting and adoption event at Petsmart from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
Saturday - Shelter is closed - hosting adoption event (see below for details.)

CURRENT OPEN VOLUNTEER POSITIONS:
WEBSITE DESIGNER: We have the domain and the host...we need the designer!
EVENT COORDINATOR: Networkers welcome, we'll scoop the poop if you like working the crowd! Willingness to meet one evening per month necessary.
DOG WALKERS: We need individuals who are willing to walk dogs during shift A (9-11am) or shift B (11-1), some open days for shift C (3-5). Email for an application, this is a great way to earn volunteer hours within your community, looks great on those college applications, too!
STUDENT OPPORTUNITIES: Looking to make a commercial, or snap some photos? We are looking for students who want to show off their art skills, email for more information!

Check out our "Loved" pets, someone has met one of these wonderful animals and generously donated part of their adoption fee so they can find a home a little easier, because they can't take them home themselves(due to allergies within the house, pet limits, landlord requirements, etc.)

FOSTER HOMES NEEDED!! Let's get these guys in a home for the holidays. If you can open your heart and home for even a week or two, some of these wonderful pets would love a "break" from shelter life and just enjoy a nice quiet family life, even if temporary! Feel free to email us for details and an application!
The economy has devasted many families, as the loss of jobs and homes have increased, the number of animals that had homes has decreased. Here at Fresh Start we are doing all we can to help the victims of the economy, including trying to save as many pets as we can, providing temporary shelter until a forever home can be found. If you are looking for a new addition we just may have what you're looking for, or will soon be rescuing it, there are just not enough homes for every pet.

Animals 5 years and older qualify for the Golden Ears for the Golden Years Program. If you are 55yrs+ and would like to adopt one of these excellent companions for yourself, just let us know! Fees are reduced by $100.00 if you qualify!

This is Maggie! A smiling lovebug of Golden mix sweetness. Maggie is heartworm positive and will need to start treatments, she is loving and not at all jumpy or barky. She will be available for adoption once she has completed treatment and gets the all clear from her doctor! Maggie will also be looking for a foster home to stay at while being treated, so just drop us an email if you may be interested.

On an average day we go through 10-14 rolls of paper towels, every donated roll helps! We thank everyone who has helped us and those who continue to help us.
