Halfway Home Alternative Therapies NFP is an organization with multiple interests that are community based including programs for low income families, abused women and animal assisted psychotherapy.
Adopting a friend
We have an adoption application for you to fill out for us to review. Upon approval we will contact you to set up an adoption appointment. Our adoptable dogs are in foster homes. Adoptable horses reside with us on the farm until adoption.
All adoptable dogs are dewormed, immunized and have a vet check up. Adoptable horses receive dewormings, immunizations, hoof trimmings, dentals and vet care when needed.
The adoption donation required is not a fee or sale price for the dog or horse but is a donation towards our rescue fund, which is used to pay for vet bills, food bills, boarding costs, etc... We currently do not receive any large funding and rely mostly on donations. For the most part we are operating out of pocket.
