We work hard to insure excellent matches between dogs and people. Pushing someone to take a dog that isn't right for them is bad for everyone, including the dog. We never do this. We love saving dogs, but we also love seeing the great joy that a well-placed dog brings to his or her new home.
Sometimes we work with very good dogs that have a few problems with their manners due to neglect, poor training, or cruelty. We do not euthanize these dogs. We have trainers teach them manners so they become wonderful companions. We highly recommend Al Butler, the chief dog trainer at Albright Petsitting and More. He is an outstanding, experienced dog trainer, with incredible amounts of common sense, knowledge, and patience. He carefully adapts his training methods to fit the dog.
