Foster Homes Needed for Moms & Kittens

We are now taking foster applications for families interested in fostering moms and kittens this year. Foster families commit to caring for a litter of kittens for 2 weeks to 3 months depending on the age of their fosters. Litter size various and we do need foster homes for single kittens too. Foster families provide food, water, litter, and socialization while the shelter takes care of the health and medical needs of each kitten. Orientation and training starts soon so please sign up today!

Volunteers

We are looking for volunteers to help out both in the shelter (office and animal work) and at special events. Please contact us for volunteer opportunities!

Who We Are

CatNap From the Heart is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal shelter located in La Grange Park Illinois that specializes in cats, kittens, birds, rabbits, and small mammals. We also do short-term and long-term boarding.

Adopting a Friend

We have many pets ready for new homes. Let our experienced adoption counselors help you find the right one for your family in our warm, friendly atmosphere. When you walk in the door, you can view all the pets available for adoption prior to talking to a counselor. After completing a simple two page application, you will then be walked through the adoption process.

We prefer you come in with your family so everyone has a choice in making this important decision. We will work with you on a one to one basis to be sure the pet you take home is perfect for you and your family. We regularly update our database but not all of our adoptable pets are listed. If you don't see that perfect pet online, please stop by or contact us.

Our hours are:

• Monday through Friday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• Thursday 10-8 p.m. (Summer Only)
• Saturday: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• Sunday: Closed

We are located approximately one mile east of LaGrange Rd/Mannheim/Rte 45 and about two miles west of First Avenue, just off the intersection of 31st Street and Beach Avenue.
