Precious Pets Almost Home is a rescue group/foster home program. We consist of dedicated individuals that are joined together by their compassion and love for homeless cats and dogs! Precious Pets, Almost Home Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization. All donations are fully tax-deductible. We do not receive any federal, state or city funding. All of our support comes from concerned and involved individuals like you that share our compassion and love for homeless cats and dogs, and animals in general.
Adopting A Friend:
Please help our homeless pets in need by adopting from Precious Pets Almost Home, Association. All of our cats and dogs are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped with an Avid I.D., de-wormed, de-flead, up to date on shots and treated for ear mites. Cats are tested for FIV/Leukemia. Dogs are Heartworm tested. Our modest adoption fee is $100.00 for cats and $150.00 for dogs. Some purebred cats or dogs may have a higher adoption fee. Please understand that the higher adoption fee for certain purebred animals allows us to rescue more animals and it is still much, much less than what you would pay a breeder or pet store!
Volunteer Opportunities:
Like many non-profit organizations, volunteers are an integral part of our establishment and we rely heavily on their support and hard work. The following is a list of Precious Pets Almost Home, Association volunteer opportunities:
URGENT!! Caregivers:
Feed and care for our feline population and maintain the cleanliness of our adoption showcase facility. Give personalized time and attention to each individual cat at the adoption showcase facility
URGENT!! Foster Homes:
Provide a caring, loving and secure environment for homeless cat(s) and dog(s) until they are matched and adopted into a qualifying family home. We are always in desperate need of foster homes due to the overwhelming amount of homeless cats and dogs. This is especially true during kitten
season in the spring and the fall!
Clerical:
Assist with general clerical tasks.
Photographers of all skill levels:
Take pictures of homeless cats and dogs and edited them for adoption purposes to be use in print and on the internet.
