Hey everybody, my name is Genevieve! I may be 2 years old and full grown, but I still have the heart of a puppy (and sometimes I think I'm still as small as one – I love to sit in laps!). I look like a shepherd-terrier mix and I weigh 49 lbs. I'm playful but obedient, and very trainable. I'm housebroken and generally well behaved in the home. When my family eats, I sit patiently in the corner, smelling all the wonderful aromas. I prefer houses with yards, so I can run around as much as I want. I love kids and your kids will love ME! Come meet me – as soon as you see me in person I'm sure you'll fall in love with my sweet (but stately) demeanor. Genevieve came to us with her litter of puppies, but is now ready for her forever home. Though she tested positive for heartworm, she has already had her first treatment and can still be adopted. She will need to be brought back for a second dose of meds on April 24th, and then she should be good as new. Genevieve's adoption fee of $285 includes: vet exam, heartworm test and treatments, flea preventative, DHPP (distemper-parvo combo) vaccination, bordetella vaccination, rabies vaccination, deworming, microchip and spaying..
