Who We Are
A.S.A.P. (Animals Saved, Adopted, and Protected) of Southeastern Illinois maintains the fundamental mission of promoting humane principles and serving as a model of good citizenship toward animal companions. We believe in the value of humane education and fostering kindness and respect for the animals that share our environment. In our efforts to accomplish this mission, our organization promotes the adoption of displaced companion animals, works with our regions veterinarians and pet care professionals in a positive and productive manner, and maintains a good working relationship with county officials at animal control facilities. A.S.A.P.'s adoption program links individuals, agencies, veterinarians, and pet care professionals in finding homes for displaced and homeless pets. Our referral service has had great success in placing numerous unwanted pets into loving and caring homes. We are committed to curbing the problems associated with pet overpopulation by promoting the spaying and/or neutering of companion animals through education and working in partnership with area veterinarians.
