Barn Cats Available - Summer 2008
CAARE is looking for homes willing to take barn cats. Cascade Area Animal Rescue & Education (CAARE), a 501(c)(3)non-profit organization, is seeking ranchers, farmers and homeowners who need good mousers for their barns and out buildings. As part of an ongoing effort to help control outdoor and abandoned cat populations in the community, CAARE will sterilize, vaccinate, and worm all cats prior to relocation. There is NO adoption fee required; however, shelter from the weather, supplemental feeding, and the ability to confine the cat in it's new environment for at least 2 to 3 weeks are requirements for all adoptions. Who We Are
Cascade Area Animal Rescue and Education (CAARE), is a non-profit, 501(c)3 animal welfare organization dedicated to helping homeless dogs and cats in south Valley County, Idaho. CAARE strives to educate the community in humane appreciation, as well as respect and tolerance for all living creatures. CAARE is an all-volunteer organization funded entirely by annual membership fees, contributions from the community, and fundraising events.
CAARE's mission is to provide life-saving assistance to dogs and cats in need; to advocate prevention of cruelty to all animals; to reduce the number of homeless dogs and cats through effective humane spay and neutering programs; and to help animals in our rescue find loving, permanent homes through our foster care adoption program.

CAARE is located in beautiful Cascade, Idaho, which is located about 70 miles north of Boise, Idaho. CAARE can provide free transportation for pets going to new homes in the Boise and surrounding areas. Transportation for areas outside of the Boise area will be arranged on a case-by-case basis.
