Who We Are
Greyhound Pets of America is a national non-profit organization dedicated to finding loving and responsible homes for retired racing greyhounds. We are a chapter of this organization. GPAGNW does adoptions in Idaho, Washington, Oregon and western Montana.
Adopting a friend
A greyhound is not the dog for everyone but we do believe that there is a suitable home out there for every retired greyhound. Our job is to find these homes through careful screening and sharing accurate information to the public and potential adopter. A greyhound much like any other dog is not perfect. To this end we insist on being honest with potential homes and if there are reservations then it is best for them to wait, do some reading and research about the greyhound before they adopt. We have an application process and a home visit and yard check before releasing the dog. We do not ship dogs.
