Our Featured Pet...BIANCA!!

Bianca is a beautiful young female Husky. She is 3/4 Husky and 1/4 lab. Bianca came to us as an abused and extremly neglected little girl. From birth Bianca had mange...it was NEVER treated. At 7 months old the owners put her in the garage in a tiny pet porter and that is where she lived because they didn't have the money to get her medical tretment. There she laid in her own urine and feces, with open wounds and rotting flesh. Bianca's mange has cleared up. It could flair up again in her life, but now that it has been cleared it will be very manageable with a cost of around $45 for a 6-week course of treatment. Bianca is crate trained, and 99% house trained. She us utd on her vaccinations, spayed, microchiped, and current on frontline and heartguard. Bianca can jump a chainlink fence, so she will be required to have a 6' privacy fence or be adopted by a family who runs or jogs daily. Bianca can not be placed in a home with cats. Indoor homes need only apply, the adption fee is $150. Please call Shannon at 319-241-2059 for more information.

Adopting a friend

All of our animals live in foster homes. We feel that this is a great advantage to adopting one of our dogs. We evaluate the dogs behavior on a daily basis to insure that they are adopted into a home that is best suited for their needs. Most of our animals live in homes with other dogs as well as cats and children. If an animal needs to be adopted into a home with no other animals it will state that on their information page. We will do our very best in helping you pick out the right companion animal to add to your family. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs please call the number listed on the pets information page. All of our adoptable animals are current on vaccinations, including distemper/parvo/corona combination, rabies and bordatella. All animals are also spayed or neutered if age appropriate. During the months of April through November dogs are on heartworm preventative and flea and tick preventative. An adoption fee applies to all animals and varies depending on the animal. Each animal adopted comes with 30 days of free shelter care insurance. To learn more about shelter care insurance, click the link below.
