Our Pet List

Our Featured Cat..

Bob

Meet Bob..... Rescued from the potential perils of the sometimes unforgiving streets, I arrived at the shelter with great expectations. Because I am such a handsome feline, I’m assuming I won’t be here too terribly long. Instead, I already envision myself basking in the comforts of a new home with a loving family. From this point on, I vow to be satisfied with roaming the confines of my indoor dwelling and dismiss any future notion I have of checking out the great outdoors. A sociable fella, I’m all about making myself familiar with whoever I encounter and making it fully known that I enjoy lots of petting and attention. I allow myself to be held for long periods of time and never once complain, all the while purring in sheer delight. A gem indeed, I’d make a great addition one one lucky family. Won’t that family please be yours? Please call the Mason City Stray Animal Shelter at 641-424-3617 for more information. Photo courtesy of Arickx Photography.

Our Featured Dog...

Buck

Meet Buck..... Rescued on the 1300 clock of South Pennsylvania on a busy Saturday night, I was quickly taken to the shelter. Having now been here for several months, I have been lectured about the dangers of roaming around the streets and promise never to stray from my forever family again. Docile and friendly, I am also gentle and respectful. More than willing to pass out sloppy kisses to anyone who will let me, I hope for a family to come in and fill out an application with my name on the top. Won’t that family please be yours? Please call the Mason City Stray Animal Shelter at 641-424-3617 for more information. Photo courtesy of Arickx photography.
