Meet Boo Boo.....
When I strayed from my previous home and could not find my way back, my whole world changed. I was suddenly having to fend for myself, and that included finding shelter each night and foraging for food every spare second I had. It was hard, not to mention scary. Now that I have been rescued by Animal Control, all of my needs are once again being met. I’m safe and sound here at the shelter and never want to re-live those moments ever again. Blessed with both a sweet nature and excellent manners, I’m ready to find my new forever home where I have absolutely no plans of ever leaving! Won’t that home please be yours?
Meet Abigail..... It was Christmas Day of 2011. While most of the world was opening gifts and enjoying time with family over a warm meal, I was praying for a miracle. You see, I had been tied up to a picnic table in a local park andsimply left behind! I had no idea how I was going to get loose so I could find my way home. Although there was no snow on the ground, it was winter afterall, and I was cold. And oh, so scared! Finally my ”miracle” came in the form of Animal Control. The nice worker released me from the picnic table and brought me to the shelter. Since my arrival, I have met both the awesome staff and volunteers. I have also been doing alot of thinking. If my previous owner loved me so much, or even at all, why was I abandoned on Christmas Day? Was it because of my age? Did they just not want or care about me anymore? Regardless the reason, it no longer matters. Instead, I know full well that I deserve to be loved. I have faith that my forever family will indeed walk through the doors of the shelter and gift me with a loving home in which to live out the final chapters of my life. Won’t that home please be yours? Please call the Mason City Stray Animal Shelter at (641) 424-3617 for more information. Photo courtesy of lifephotography.
