The animals at the shelter are in need of canned cat food, clay & scoopable cat litter, bleach, and laundry detergent.

Who We Are
We are a non-profit shelter. Cedar Valley Humane Society is proud to have served Linn County for over 100 years thanks to a community of devoted animal lovers who support our organization.
Adopting a friend
Adoptions of cats is $70 and dog adoptions cost $95. This includes shots up to date, spay or neuter, flea bath, deworming, feline leukemia testing for cats and heartworm testing for dogs.
Adoption costs differ for other species. Rabbits are $20.00 which includes spay or neuter, guinea pigs are $10.00, and rats, gerbils, and hamsters are $2.00. Ferrets can be adopted for $40.00 and birds vary by species.
We offer microchipping for $35. It's a great way to help ensure your pet gets back home if it's lost.

Cedar Valley is located at 7411 Mt. Vernon Road Cedar Rapids, IA 1/4 mile east of the intersection of Mt. Vernon Rd and Highway 13.
