I originally came to the shelter with my sister as just a tiny kitten of only 2 pounds. We grew up and continued to be overlooked. Many moons after our entry, we decided to have a little fun. We came up with a plan and taught ourselves how to open the door of our kennel. After that we opened up the kennel doors of others and had ourselves a party! Once shelter staff figured out what we were doing they nicknamed us the Party Planner (me) and the Party Planner’s Assistant (my sister). Finally, our day came and we were adopted together in January, nearly 2 years after entering the shelter. Over a year later, our owner returned us due to her health problems and wished us the best of luck. Because we spent so long at the shelter the last time, shelter staff opted to make us Cabin Fever Cats and reduce our adoption fees to $50.00! But nearly another year has already passed and we will soon celebrate another year here at the shelter. Please don’t continue to overlook me (us) again. Won’t you please consider me (us) today? Abandoned by my previous owner and left to perish, I have since been rescued by a team of some mighty fine people. As a result of my past I have lost my tail, but that is the least of my worries. What concerns me most these days is that I won’t ever find a family who will cherish and adore me, always keeping my best interests in mind. I so want, and deserve, at least that. Do not let my age fool you, I am full of energy and eager to live life to the fullest. After spending some time at the shelter, it has been determined that I cannot live with other dogs or cats. Due to my past, I suffer from some anxiety. I will require a lot of time, love, and patience. Although they have received many applications for me, they have yet to find just the right fit.
