Iowa Basenji Rescue LLC is a small organization dedicated to the relief of the Basenji living in kill shelters, who are abandoned or neglected, or otherwise need assistance. We have expanded our organiztion to cover other breeds aswell. We are always there to help in the rescue of dogs living in Puppy Mills and in inhumane conditions.
First, all members of the household (human and canine) should meet and spend time with the animal. Next, potential adopters must complete our pre-adoption application. If the application is approved, adopters then sign a legally-binding adoption contract and pay an adoption fee. Then adopters take their new family member home!
You must meet certain requirements as stated in our adoption application. All animals are spayed/neutered if old enough (5 mos).All are current on vaccinations, worming, etc.
