Raina is a Dutch Shepherd mix. Housetrained, current on vaccinations, spayed and micro-chipped. No cats or small kids, but great with other dogs. Raina loves to travel.
Beginning October 9, 2007, we will be doing a monthly radio program at Country Sunshine 95.3 KCSI FM in Red Oak, Iowa. Listen at 8:15 a.m. every second Tuesday of the month for our available for adoptions. You can also listen on www.kcsifm.com.
Current Fundraiser
Through the summer MCAR will be having a monthly table at a local farmers market. We will be selling our handmade leashes and collars, homemade dog and cat treats, along with a variety of baked and garden items.
We still have copies available of our cookbook "Perfectly, Dog-gone Good Recipes". $12 plus $2 shipping.

We are a small rescue started in 2001 dedicated to finding new homes for stray and abandoned animals.
Adopting a friend
Go to our webside www.adoptourdogs.com and complete our online application. All adoptions take place after our application process has been approved. All of our animals are altered before adoption, current on vaccinations and Micro chipped. Adoptions fee vary for different animals, but usually run between $75 and $125.
Come Visit Us!
We do not have a permanent shelter, but board animals at the Red Oak Veterinary Clinic in Red Oak Iowa. We will make arrangements to meet you at the clinic during hours of operation. M-F 8:00 - 5:00 and Sat from 8:00 to noon.
