Our Adoptable Pet List
The animals at the Humane Society of Perry are brought to us by the Police Department and the Public Works Department as well as by owners needing to surrender pets. The City of Perry advertises the "found" animals and the owners have one week to claim their pets. If the animals are not claimed, they are put up for adoption. We try to find homes for all lost or abandoned animals. The shelter is maintained by volunteers. Please call before visiting to insure a volunteer is available to assist you.
Animal adoption fees are $65 for most cats (kittens sometimes lower) and as listed in the description for dogs. The fees include an exam, the spay/neuter of the animal, worming, rabies vaccination, heartworm testing for dogs, micro-chip and additional vaccinations as needed. Dogs and cats in the City of Perry must be licensed at McCreary Communitty Center.
