Bandit is a 12 lb black & white tuxedo male cat around 3 yrs old found wandering on Hickam AFB. His humans have gone missing, so he would like to find a new home...forever this time though!
Bandit is talkative, playful, snuggly & loves to be around people. He is an alpha boy that prefers the company of humans over other cats! He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, flea & worm free. We guess that he had a few street brawls during his outside days as he is FIV+. Ideally, he prefers a home as the solo cat as this better suits his personality & FIV status.
Bandit's foster home had to leave the islands and could not take him with, so Bandit needs a new home (either foster or permanent). If you are looking for a great companion cat, Bandit is your guy!

Hickam's Ten Lives is a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the stray and abandoned cat population on Hickam AFB in Honolulu, HI. We do this though spaying/neutering, microchipping, vaccinating, and adopting out cats to suitable homes. All of our found cats are fostered in loving, nurturing private homes, and are comfortable with other cats. Many of our foster cats are also in homes with children and dogs, so they should easily fit into a new home. In keeping with our mission, we adopt only to indoor, lifelong homes.
Ten Lives is always in need of assistance. While monetary help is greatly appreciated, our goal isn't making a profit. It costs us at least $75 to prepare a cat for adoption. We do request a adoption donation of $60 for one cat & $100 for two cats to help offset our costs & allow us to continue our work. The spays/neuters, vaccinations etc are paid out of pocket by 10 Lives. All the foster care supplies are paid out of pocket by the foster parents (food, toys etc). There are many ways you can help our organization! Additional foster homes are always needed, particularly for the older kittens & cats since they are often in foster care for longer periods of time.
If you are interested in adopting or fostering one of our cats, or helping out in some other way, please contact us. Mahalo!
