Who We Are
We are the only public animal shelter on Kauai and accept all animals received. We are open daily for visiting: Tuesday - Friday 8am - 6pm and Saturday - Monday 8am - 4pm. Freddie's Dog Park is open for Society members to allow their canine buddies to romp and play leash free! We also provide FREE spay/neuter surgeries for qualified low-income family pets, private pet boarding services for KHS members, critter camp for kids, and lots more. Stop by to visit one of Kauai's most loved destinations today!
Adopting a friend
It's easy - just stop by to visit with the animals and see if you meet your new best friend. We always have a wide variety of friendly and healthy dogs and cats looking for a new home.
