9th Life Hawaii is currently taking reservations on over 30 kittens who are too young to get adopted at the moment. We have kittens in all colors and patterns, and each one is adorable! Who We Are
9th Life Hawaii is a no-kill shelter and rescue for Maui's neediest cats. Our purpose is to humanely, compassionately, and non-lethally control cat overpopulation by spaying and neutering. Our vision is to lead the Hawaiian Islands into adopting "No-Kill, No More Homeless Pets" by bringing Maui to the forefront of this philosophy that is being embraced planet-wide. 9th Life Hawaii has been providing free or low cost spay/neuter services for cats in the care of island residents. We also provide sanctuary for homeless and abandoned cats that have no where else to safely stay and we have just begun a program to place older cats with senior citizens.
Adopting a friend
9th Life has strict policies regarding adoptions to assure that all rescued kitties have a good home. Each adopter will be required to sign a comprehensive adoption form covering the health, care and well being of their new companion. On occasion, a site visit will be made. It is understood that 9th Life Hawaii will always take back any cat adopted from us (no questions asked). Adopter is never to take one of our cats to a kill shelter. Adoption fee is $50.00. however breed cats start at $100.00. Special arrangements for seniors living on restricted income. Cats adopted to seniors are by whatever donation the senior is able to make.

9th Life Hawaii cannot disclose it's precise location to the general public since this invites 'cat dumping of sick cats, which poses a very real threat to the more than 225+/- healthy cats at our sanctuary.
