Our Mission,The Douglas County HumaneSociety is a non-profit corporation, organized under the laws of Georgia. All earnings of funds donated to this Society shall be utilized for the benefit of all living animals.
The Society will educate the general populace in the principles of kindness to animals.
There are still so many homeless animals that need our help and with the support of concerned individuals we can do so much more. Please help us help them.
Adopting a friend
Some of the animals on our site are at the Douglas County Animal Shelter, which is run by the County, NOT the Douglas County Humane Society, we are only trying to help, to get these animals adopted.
