LADY-- has the look of a German Shepherd, a common mistake among those of her breed so don't let the coat fool you. She's a BEAUTIFUL Belgian Malinois Shepherd about 2 yrs. old, still very much a puppy in her play! Timid with strangers but comes out of her shell once she gets to know you. Very sweet, active and playful she needs an experienced owner for her strength. Exercise caution around younger aged children as she can get quite playful for their safety. With the typical Shepherd attitude, she's particular of who she gets along with though simply has not been properly introduced to other dogs and may prey hunt cats. She's heartworm negative and about 60 lbs though can stand to gain more weight. Think Adoption FIRST---Ginny Millner is on a mission to Spay and Neuter all of Georgia. But we need your help! Please join our intiative to cease the over population of abused and mistreated animals that will only end up dying either on the streets, or in shelters! Spay and Neuter your pets... keep them out of adoptions!
Who We Are
Ginny Millner Rescue Group works with Fulton County Animal Shelter to find good homes for the dogs that end up at the shelter and are in danger of being euthanized. If you do not find the dog you are looking for with our rescue group, please check the Fulton County Animal Shelter or your closest shelter.
Adopting a friend
Our THINK ADOPTION process involves you filling out a Think Adoption Application when you are interested in one of our animals. During this process, we review your information where you will set up a time to meet the dog (s) you would like to see along with any other pets or members of your family. Once the decision is made that this is the dog (s) you all agree to become part of your family, we will conduct a home and veterinarian check. Once everything clears, you move onto the second part of the process-- ADOPTION-- and be given an Adoption Contract. Our adoption fee is $150 to help with the veterinary and everyday care of our animals. Once we have these items, your new family member is yours to take and start welcoming into your home. PLEASE BE ADVISED: WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO PLACE THE DOGS IN OUR RESCUE INTO A HOME WE FEEL TO BE THE RIGHT PERMANENT HOME FOR EACH DOG BASED ON THEIR HISTORY AND DEMEANOR. WE OFTEN GET MORE THAN ONE APPLICATION FOR A DOG THAT MAY OR MAY NOT BE APPROVED WITH EVERY PROSPECTIVE ADOPTEE, THEREFORE, OUR THINK ADOPTION PROCESS ANTICIPATES SUCH INSTANCES AND GARAUNTEES NO OBLIGATION BETWEEN GMRG AND POTENTIAL ADOPTER.

We transport different dogs/cats to different events: Adoptions at Bark Avenue Pet Resort, and Petco Adoptions in Sandy Springs and Duluth. Many of our dogs currently reside at Bark Avenue Pet Resort located at 2961 Olympic Industrial Drive, SE Smyrna, GA 30080 where they can be visited 7 days a week between 10 am to 4 pm and adopted. Dogs/cats can be seen Fridays at the Petco in Sandy Springs from 2 pm-6 pm and at the Petco in Duluth on Saturdays from 2 pm-6:30 pm. Sundays can be by appointment also, so call ahead for pets attendance.
