Adopting a friend

All potential adopters are required to fill out an Adoption Application prior to interviewing for a potential pet. We try to place each animal in an appropriate and loving home. We look to match the personality and needs of each animal with the adoptive family. We are also always looking for foster homes to temporily house our furbabies until we find loving new homes.

In Memory of Mazzy....
Mini Paws has accepted a donation in memory of a beloved dog and will use these funds to help others in need. Here is her story...
Mazzy was about 7 years old and found wandering. She had been mistreated and completely starved. I rescued her in December of 2010 and she immediately became my best friend. Although Mazzy was so affectionate and loving, she was constantly sick. After months and months of vet visits trying to figure out what was wrong, it was discovered that she was in stage 3-4 of heartworm disease. My sweet Mazzy died 5 days later of heart failure and as a kind gesture, this fund was started in her honor. Mazzy was put in my life at a time that I was in need of unconditional love and she helped me heal during a very difficult time. Now this donation will allow Mazzy to continue to heal others!! ~~ by Erin C
