If you see an animal you like, please don't delay, because we are only able to hold them for a very short period of time.

Who We Are
Gordon County Animal Control is a shelter operated by our local county government. The shelter houses impounded, lost, abandoned and unwanted animals of Gordon County.
Some of the animals are owner turn in and we are able to gather some information about them, others are strays and all we know about them is what we are able to learn observing them during their time with us. Most make wonderful pets!
This shelter has to euthanize animals to make room for incoming animals. If you see a pet you like, PLEASE DON'T DELAY!

Adoption Prices:
Dogs $60. Includes spay or neuter certificate
$25. If the dog is already spayed or neutered.
Cats $50. Includes spay or neuter certificate.
$25. If cat is already spayed or neutered.
All animals adopted from a shelter must be spay or neutered.
Gordon County Animal Control accepts cash, checks, money orders, VISA or MC.
