Myself and Michelle started True Love Canine Rescue, Inc. very simply because we love dogs and we can't stand the thought of an abandoned or unwanted dog going without a home. We have been involved in fostering and rescuing for many years now. In that time we've met some incredible, caring people and we've met some really incredible dogs! The sense of pride we feel when one of our fosters finds that perfect new home is indescribable. Athens, GA is home to several established rescue groups and we're proud to be a part of that community. TLC Rescue officially incorporated in September of 2008. With TLC Rescue we strive to be a group that always acts responsibly and realistically within the means of ourselves and our foster families. Care and attention to each and every rescue dog will never fall from being priority number one. Our growth as an organization will come as needed. The number of dogs available for adoption will be determined by the number of families we have willing to foster for us. Securing homes for all homeless dogs is, of course, the ultimate goal, but it is the individual hearts and minds of the dogs we take in who have our utmost attention.
