New Rattitude, Inc., is a national all-volunteer rescue group for Rat Terriers and Rat Terrier mixes. We provide temporary living environments for abandoned, abused, neglected, sick, or unwanted Rat Terriers. In private foster homes, they are nurtured, socialized, trained, supported medically, and provided with professional veterinary care while we work diligently to find them new and permanent adoptive homes where they will be safe, loved, and properly and humanely cared for the rest of their lives.
New Rattitude is a registered 501c3 non-profit charity, incorporated and licensed in Georgia, but serving the entire United States.

Our adoption fees are $150 for adult dogs or $200 for puppies under 6 months old. All New Rattitude dogs have had veterinarian exams, been spayed or neutered, heartworm tested, microchipped, and wormed (as needed), and are up-to-date on vaccinations and heartworm preventative.

Cash donations go directly to pay for veterinary expenses for our rescued dogs, including vaccinations, heartworm testing and treatment, spay/neuters, antibiotics to fight infections, etc. Since we are an all-volunteer organization with virtually no overhead, 100% of your donation goes directly to care for the dogs. If you cannot donate cash, there are other ways you can help us raise money so that we can save even more Rat Terriers. You can:

Our network can always use more volunteers! We ALWAYS need reliable fosterhomes. We also need people to help with transports, home visits, follow-up calls, applications processing, fund-raising, publicity, etc. If you have a little time to give, this is a very rewarding endeavor. If you know of a Rat Terrier in a desperate situation needing rescue, please let us know! Email us at urgent@NewRattitude.org and give us as much detail as possible, including the dog's location (city/state) and a physical description.
If you are needing to surrender your own Rat Terrier, please inquire about our ReHome program by emailing us at NR.ReHome@yahoo.com with your location (city/state), the dog's picture, and a description of your situation.
