Bosco is still young, loves to play and learn, and enjoys outdoor activities (typical Lab) If you think you might be able to provide a home for Bosco, please contact us!!

News

We have recently rescued two Dobermans- both from different situations. On October 11th we rescued "Lady Bug" a year old female Black and rust Doberman with a docked tail and naturals ears- She has recently been spayed and is up to date on vaccines. On October 15, 2008 we were contacted about a male that was found up in the mountains of Woodberry Georgia. The very skinny, but happy boy has been lost for some time and will take a little time to gain weight so that he is healthy enough to be neutered and then placed. He is about a 3 year old blue and rust male that is cropped and docked. You can see pictures of them listed here on pet finders, as well as pictures from the day we got them at:

SEADR

We also currently have several mixed breeds that we are helping with- three Boxer mixes and one lab.

Who We Are

We are Southeast Atlanta Doberman rescue and I am Cheryl Morrow. I have been a member of the Atlanta Doberman Club, as well as the Doberman Pinscher Club of America for 15 plus years. I have worked with and helped with many rescues with and for the Atlanta Doberman Pinscher rescue during my membership with them. However, with the many changes that Atlanta rescue has done over the last couple of years, it was time for me to branch off and focus on rescues south of Atlanta, as well as any where else that needed me. I have several fosters and supporters locally as well as in the southeast, Alabama, North Atlanta and Florida. Although I focus mostly on Dobermans in need, you will see on my Happy Endings page, I have taken in and found homes for several breeds.

Adopting a friend

Adopting from SEADR is a very serious commitment for us. I prefer to interview each person either in person or over the phone. I do not currently have a pre-adopt form to fill out, as I feel I can find out more about you and your family by speaking with you personally. I do NOT ship rescue puppies out of state, so if you live outside of Georgia we would have to arrange some sort of transport. There is an adoption fee associated with each dog that is available for adoption. The typical adoption fee for a puppy is $350.00 and $250.00 for and adult, unless there are special circumstances. All puppies are adopted with a contract that states they will NOT be kept as guard dogs, that they will be fed premium food, given optimal vet care and if any point and time you can not keep a dog, it must be returned to us.

Come Visit Us!

We live in a very small town called Sharpsburg, Which is between Peachtree City and Newnan Georgia. We are only 8 miles from interstate 85, but still sit nestled back in a country setting on 5 acres. All of our dogs have the comforts of home, as well of lots of play room! I do not work outside the home, so the dogs here get my full care and attention. If you would like to come out and visit with us and any of our rescues (or resident dogs) just give us a call at 770-251-9843 to set up an appointment time.
