Our Featured Pet...

Cocoa is about 3 years old, 30lbs with a cute under bite. She was living behind a neighbor’s house. They had been feeding her table scraps/bones. Thanksgiving night we finally were able to get her in. She wiggles and smiles when you talk to her & LOVES getting her back scratched. She has every hair color in her, red, black, blond, brown; a mosaic of color. She is a Shepherd/Chow mix with maybe a little Tibetan Spaniel. Cocoa is a low rider with satellite ears, she loves to play with the other dogs in the house and hang out on the couch or dog bed. This sweetie would make somebody so happy, she is just happy to be inside where it is warm and there is love. She is learning the ways of the snuggle bug. She has every hair color in her, red, black, blond, brown... a mosaic of color. I think she is around 3 years old. To learn more about the fabulous Cocoa contact buddhafish@gmail.com

    Who We Are

Stray Atlanta was formed as a coalition to help reduce the stray population in transitional neighborhoods in downtown Atlanta. We strive to erradicate these issues by rescuing, rehabilitating and finding forever homes for these neglected souls. Our goal is not only to find homes, but to assist low-income families by offering affordable spaying and neutering of their dogs, and giving positive options for unwanted dogs in the near future.

Stray Atlanta is a volunteer organization that is funded solely by donations received from individuals who believe in our mission and goals. If you are interested in volunteering your time, either as a foster home or to help trap dogs, please contact us directly at: strayatlanta@comcast.net.
