~CCHS CATS~
*CCHS CATS*
Jasmine is a lovely little torti girl. She has the sweetest personality and is a fun kitty. Jasmine has been with us for quite a long while for reasons we are un-sure of, mostly no one ever looks at her. She is quiet till you go up to pet her then she is a love bug. She is looking for someone to give her a chance to see that she is a great little girl. Jasmine loves other cats and would fit in great with most families. She is fully vetted and ready to go! News
Kitten season is now in full swing! We have kittens all colors and sizes waiting for new homes. Please take note that not all of our animals up for adoption are on the Petfnder list. So if there is something in particular you are looking for please contact us and we may be able to help you find it! Also we have lots of adults that get over looked at kitten season if you are not up for the rambunctious bundle of kitten, please come see our calmer older kitty's.
We are actively looking for responsible loving foster homes. Do you have an extra room in your home and a little extra love you could share with a homeless kitty? How about helping us help them! All food, litter and medical care is provided!
The cats will be tested for FIV (feline aids) and FeLV (feline leukemia), vaccinated when old enough, dewormed, spayed/neutered when old enough and other routine medical care. We will handle all of the adoption and screening procedures. You must be willing to care for the rescued cat from the time it's put into foster care until its ready for adopted. Please understand that depending on the cat this could be weeks ...or months. Fostering can be very rewarding and a lot of fun! Please contact us if you are interested or have any questions.
Who We Are
The Cherokee County Humane Society is non-profit organization dedicated to help find permanent loving homes for shelter, neglected and stray animals. We are a network of foster homes not a shelter.
Adopting a friend
All of our cats prior to adoption are: Spayed or neutered, dewormed, flea treated, tested for feline aids and leukemia, and have their age appropriate vaccinations.
We strive to find all our animals loving forever indoor homes. If you are interested in adopting please see our Pet List! If you find a pet you would like to meet or adopt please contact us and we will send you an application for adoption.

Towels/Blankets

Of course monetary donations are always welcome to help with the medical costs to treat some of our sick foster animals as well as help spay and neuter them all! Please email for more info on donating.
