News

We need cleaners for our Woodstock and Canton stores. Please contact us.

We are actively looking for responsible loving foster homes. Do you have an extra room in your home and a little extra love you could share with a homeless kitty? How about helping us help them! All food and medical care is provided!

The cats will be tested for FIV (feline aids) and FeLV (feline leukemia), vaccinated when old enough, dewormed, micro-chipped, flea treated, spayed or neutered when old enough and other routine medical care. We will handle all of the adoption and screening procedures. You must be willing to care for the rescued cat from the time it's put into foster care until it's ready to be adopted. Please understand that depending on the cat or kittens this could be weeks ...or months. Fostering can be very rewarding and a lot of fun! Please contact us if you are interested or have any questions.

Who We Are

The Cherokee County Humane Society is non-profit organization dedicated to help find permanent loving homes for shelter, neglected and stray animals. We are a network of foster homes not a shelter.

Adopting a friend

All of our cats prior to adoption are: Spayed or neutered, dewormed, flea treated, tested for feline aids and leukemia, micro-chipped and have their age appropriate vaccinations. Our adoption fee is $105 for one or $175 for two.

We strive to find all of our cats loving forever homes. If you are interested in adopting please see our Pet List! If you find a cat you would like to meet or adopt please contact us and we will send you an application for adoption.

Come Visit Us!

We have cat adoptions at the following Petsmart locations: Merchants Walk, Woodstock, Canton and Roswell. You may come by anytime to visit our cats. Adoptions are held every Saturday at each location from 11am to 5pm, also during the week by appointment only. Stop by to see our kitties! List of our Pets!
