Currently we (Humane Society of Jackson County) do not have a shelter - but working hard at getting one! In the meantime some of our adoptive pets are in foster homes (please call about our foster program!). Jackson County (Animal Control) does not have a shelter and contracts with Commerce Vet, we go each week to take pictures of the county/city animals. They are listed as a courtesy as we try and give each animal a chance at life. Please note these animals have limited time so please call immediately if you see one you like!
