Tri-County Animal Rescue Center is a family owned/operated non-profit rescue organization dedicated to the care, rehabilitation of domestic animals. Our animals are examined, vaccinated, spayed or neutered and receive all medical treatment before they are placed in loving homes.
As animal rescuers we never and I stress never have a shortage of animals in need. Unfortunately this ensures that our services will stay in strong demand. TCAR contracts to the following local government municipalities as Animal Control
Cities of Butler and Reynolds in Taylor County
City of Buena Vista in Marion County
Cities of Lizella, Roberta, Musella, Byron, Ft Valley, Knoxville in Crawford County,
and stray removal in Ft Benning.
With tuff economic times getting worse, an increasing number of families are forced to surrender their pets creating swarms of homeless animals hitting shelters across the country.
It is extremely important that we find the right people to match with our needy, abandoned or otherwise neglected homeless animals. We must reach out to a very broad and diverse market with education and information, and assisting in the right decision. Remaining thorough in our efforts will reduce unsuccessful adoptions and prevent animal from recirculation in the system.

The Strays Gone Hollywood Pet Boutique will be a store front for Tri County Animal Rescue Center in Columbus, GA. Primary purpose is to function as a satellite adoption center and to bring attention to our remotely located animal shelter. Who We Are
TCAR (formally Vol. Marion County Animal Control) was started by Andrea Hoffman (my mom). After returning from Europe Dec 06 I was quickly inducted to my mother’s project. For 2 ½ years the two of us worked the shelter for what seemed like day and night caring for 200 plus animal. There are no sick days, days off or vacations in what we do and must be done every single day. No exception when dealing with live animals.
Adopting a friend
Our adoption fees for dogs range from $160 to $350 depending on the animal. All adoption fees include spay/neuter, updated shots and microchip. When you find an animal you are interested in, contact us and we'll be glad to provide you more information.
