Who We Are
GA Aussie & Border Collie Rescue was started in May 1999. We are dedicated to the rescue of unwanted, neglected, and abandoned *Australian Shepherds* and **Border Collies**. Our first priority is to shelters and dogs on death row. We provide food, shelter, medical attention, basic
obedience and some house manner type training. We evaluate each dog in an effort to find the right home for the personality and character of dog.
We are NOT a shelter and only have a small group of individuals who volunteer
to foster pets while they receive proper medical attention and wait for the RIGHT forever home. We place our Aussies & Border Collies to inside homes
ONLY.
We serve Alabama, Georgia, and the surrounding areas. We have a Georgia Shelter license issued
to GA Aussie & Border Collie Rescue by the Department of Agriculture.
Our Goal is make a difference 1 dog at a time!
Adopting a friend
We appreciate you choosing to rescue. We are easy to work with and most adoptions are simple and quick. We will ask some general information about you & your family.
Have you had a Border Collie or Austrailian Shepeherd before? What you are
looking for in the following: sex, age, color ,personality? Do
you want your new dog for
performance agility, flyball, obedience and/or Frisbee? Or are you just looking
for new companion? Do you have children or grandchildren? If so,
what are their ages? Do you have other pets? You will need to
sign an adoption contract at the time of adoption stating you will take care of the dog.
If your situation changes, you must return the adopted dog to us!
