Welcome to our organization

Leftover Pets is licensed by the GA Department of Agriculture as an animal shelter facility. We operate out of a network of approved foster homes. The majority of the animals in our foster program were saved from certain death at a high euthanasia shelter (80% or more kill rate). When you adopt, you save two lives - the one you make a part of your family and the one that gets rescued from a shelter to fill that foster spot.

Featured Pet: Flipper Kitty

This beautiful social girl has been waiting to find that special home for a whole year! She is really hoping for that special family before 2008 is gone. Visit her listing to read her whole story.

Adopting A Friend

Adoption event held every Saturday at the Petsmart in Duluth from noon until 5. Please contact us in advance to be sure the pet you are interested in will be attending the event.

ALL pets for adoption through our organization have received the following: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations (puppies & kittens may require additional vaccinations once in their new home), deworming, flea treatment & microchip. Dogs that are at least 6 mths old are tested for heartworms. All of our cats are tested for feline leukemia & feline aids as well.

$100 fee for dogs
$85 fee for cats

To speed up the adoption process, you may fill out an adoption application before you come to an event. You may also fill one out and e-mail (leftoverpetsinc@yahoo.com) it to us directly. Please make sure you tell us which pet you are interested in adopting.
