Who We Are
I am a licensed, independent rescuer who trains and sells horses for a living. I get horses off the track who are not competitive and re-train them for new careers. Please visit my farm website at www.fullrunfarm.com
Doing this kind of work enables me to rescue dogs, cats and horses in need. I make sure all the animals I rescue receive any and all vet work they need, supply them with premium quality food, water, shelter, exercise, plenty of toys and lots of love. I temperament test them so I can place them in the most suitable home for their needs. This makes for the best transition for the pet and the adoptive home as I want the new family to be the pets forever home.
Adopting a friend
The adoption procedure starts when a prospective adopter contacts me expressing an interest in one of the animals I have rescued. I have an application that I require all perspective adopters to fill out. I do require a fenced yard to adopt one of my rescues. I also require a vet reference and do a home visit before I will adopt one of my rescues to an interested party.
The adoption fee for a cat is $75, a mixed breed dog is $175 and $250 for a Great Dane. The fee difference is because of additional costs I have to pay for vetting and food for a dog the size and weight of a Dane.
All dogs and cats are current on shots, have been spayed or neutered, de-wormed, are heartworm negative and on preventative and have had flea preventative applied. All horses have a current coggins test, current shots, current on farrier care and have had their teeth floated.
