Rescue Me! Animal Project @ Petfinder.com

Rescue Me! Animal Project, Inc. is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to caring for homeless animals. It started with three like-minded Atlanta residents with one goal in mind: to help desperate animals. Our mission: to assist in eradicating euthanization due to overpopulation by ensuring Atlanta-area strays find safe and loving homes.

Rescue Me! obtains animals from local and regional animal shelters and off of the streets of Atlanta. Rescue Me! places these animals in temporary foster homes and provides each with spay/neuter, Rabies vaccinations, annual inoculations, microchipping, and heartworm treatment (if needed), and socialization prior to adopting out an animal.

Featured Pet

Reese is a beautiful 2-year-old, neutered male Brindle pittie. He former owners were evicted from their home and abandoned their 8-month-old pit bull puppy. The only time he had food and water was when the neighbor went by to check on him. He broke his runner for human affection. He was a skinny puppy with a giant head on his emaciated body. He has one ear where the tip has been cut off. We think it adds to his character. We named Reese after a peanut butter cup b/c his coloring is chocolate and peanut butter. Reese is now a well-socialized pit bull. He walks great on a leash and will even behave when going out to restaurants or public parks. Not only is he beautiful and sweet, but he is also an incredibly loving pup. He has a great temperament and would make a wonderful companion. He's Neutered, Housebroken, up-to-date on his shots, HW negative and on HW preventative. If you would like an application for Reese, please email rescuemeproject@yahoo.com His adoption fee is $200 and includes neuter, vaccinations, and microchip.
