Our adoptions are based on a first come first serve basis and we are not allowed to place holds on any dogs or cats. Animals are available for adoption anytime during normal business hours. The adoption fees range from $60.00 to $95.00 and all GA state and county laws do apply when adopting an animal.
Your adoption fee pays for your pet's spay or neuter surgery and a rabies shot. You have a choice of two veterinarians, Gadd's Animal Doctor's of Gray or Piedmont Animal Hospital for the sterilization procedure. Your new pet will receive excellent care at either hospital. JCAC will transport your animal to the veterinary office. You will pick up your pet at the veterinarian's office the day after the surgery as it does spend the night. Upon pick up the veterinary staff will discuss a tailored medical program for your pet's specific needs: preventatives, annual testing and vaccinations.

We are located at 395 Eatonton Highway Gray. From Macon take Gray Highway to downtown Gray. Take a left on Eatonton Highway (Hwy 129). Animal Control is about 2 miles down Eatonton Highway on the left. The office is located in the former office of Dr Berry Moore.
