Who We Are
We are the Rescue Committee of the Metro Atlanta Great Pyrenees Club, Inc. Our Club was formed in 1997 and currently has about 50 members with 35 Pyrs. MAGPC is affiliated with the Great Pyrenees Club of America and our rescue work and placements are done under the auspices of the GPCA.
We rescue, foster and place purebred Pyrs, mainly as pets but we do get an occassional livestock guardian dog . We do not handle any Pyr mixes. We work in the Greater Atlanta area and North Georgia mainly and we do not place rescues outside of the State of GA.
