Our Featured Pet...

is Fluff, a sweet affectionate white female Turkish Angora mix. This little ball of fluff was in bad shape when she was rescued. She had been hit by a car, had a broken pelvis in two places, was terribly matted and had an abscess on the pad of her paw. She is doing great now and is ready for her new indoor home. She is the perfect lap cat and has to be the only child. Read more about her on our Adoptable pet list.

Who We Are

The Whiskers Project is a Non-Profit, Trap, Neuter-Return (TNR) program that spays & neuters feral and stray cats in Union and surrounding counties in North Georgia. We are part of the Feral Friends Network & Alley Cat Allies in Bethesda MD. If you can volunteer to help trap and transport once a month, please contact us. For more information on TNR programs go to WWW.alleycat.org

Adopting a friend

We are always looking for farms, barns and stables to relocate sterile and rabies vaccinated cats that need homes. Please contact us if you can provide feeding and location assistance. Sometimes we rescue strays and kittens that have been domesticated that need homes. Those cats/kittens are posted here on our adoptable list.

Come Visit Us!

Our Barncats are in private locations within the community of Blairsville and the adoptable cats and kittens are fostered in private homes. Appointments are necessary for a visit.
