The Murray
County Humane Society is a 501(c)3 organization trying to
battle the problem of pet overpopulation in a very rural area
of Northwest Georgia.
The Murray
County Humane Society is a non-profit organization of
volunteers whose purpose is to provide shelter, food, and
medical care to unwanted dogs and cats while trying to place
them in loving and permanent homes. This is accomplished
through donations, membership fees, and fundraising
projects.
Each year, millions of helpless animals are needlessly
abandoned, many ending up in local, high-kill shelters. Many
of these animals will never make it to a loving home. With
your help and support, we can save a large number of them from
disease, starvation, and euthanasia.
