Because we have so very many bloodhounds pass through our organization each month, we ask you to browse through our current listings. While the majority of the bloodhounds we take in are between 12 & 24 months, we do occasionally get in pups as young as 4 months and couch potatoes as old as 12-13 years.
Southeast Bloodhound Rescue became active again on May 3, 2000. To date (March 2007), we have helped rehome well over 500 bloodhounds throughout the Southeastern United States!
Who We Are
Southeast Bloodhound Rescue is a non profit 501(c)3 charity organization made up entirely of volunteers throughout Alabama, Florida, Georgia,Kentucky,West Virginia,Virginia,Indiana,Ohio, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee and North Carolina. We are dedicated to helping bloodhounds in need and to finding new homes for unwanted, neglected and abused bloodhounds.
FOSTER VOLUNTEERS NEEDED DESPERATELY IN THE EASTERN HALF OF THE UNITED STATES!!!!
Because there are no active bloodhound rescues in the upper midwest or the northeastern regions (only one small organization in central PA), we try to help in those areas when we can. If you'd like to volunteer, visit the FORMS link at www.southeastbloodhoundrescue.org for appropriate paperwork (foster, transport, etc).
Adopting a friend
Bloodhounds are not for everyone. Contact us for information about this wonderful breed to see if they are right for your home. After "doing your homework", if you feel a bloodhound would fit well into your family, contact our organization for an adoption application!
A $25.00 non-refundable application fee must accompany each application that is mailed to SEBR, if the application is sent by fax or e-mail the fee maybe paid via pay pal to Southeast Bloodhound Rescue, Inc. @ firstname.lastname@example.org . Applications that are accepted will have the Application fee deducted from the adoption donation when they adopt a bloodhound from the Southeast Bloodhound Rescue, Inc. *SEBR reserves the right to reject any application*
