Coastal Pet Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, abused and neglected animals in the coastal areas of Georgia, South Carolina and Florida. Our goal is to save as many pet lives as possible through rescue, reduce pet overpopulation through spaying/neutering, and to provide opportunities to the public to become better pet guardians.

Adoption Inquiries

Adoption fees are $80 for cats and kittens and $125 for puppies and dogs. Adoption includes first set of shots and vet exam, microchip and spay/neuter.

If interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website.

Coastal Pet Rescue does not operate a shelter. All our pets are in foster homes. Appointments to see pets may be made once an adoption application has been completed and reviewed.

Please do not send us an email asking us if a pet is available. All listings are updated daily. Pets that have adoptions pending will have a note at the top of their profile page. If you are interested in a pet with litter mates, please include a second choice as we review applications in the order they are received, and your choice may already have an application pending review.

If you have specific questions regarding adoption, please review our Adoption FAQ page as most all questions have been answered there. Due to the high volume of emails received each day, you will get a faster response from our FAQ page.

Please note: We do not do out of area adoptions for puppies or kittens unless a neuter or spay has already been done. In area includes Savannah, Richmond Hill, Hinesville, Bluffton, Hilton Head Island, and Beaufort. Adoptions will not be done outside of Georgia, Florida or South Carolina.
