Coastal Pet Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, abused and neglected animals in the coastal areas of Georgia, South Carolina and Florida. Our goal is to save as many pet lives as possible through rescue, reduce pet overpopulation through spaying/neutering, and to provide opportunities to the public to become better pet guardians.
Adoption fees are $40 for cats and kittens and $150 for puppies and dogs. Adoption fees for Coastal Pet Rescue include all shots done up to adoption, microchip, spay/neuter, hw test, felv/fiv test, heartworm treatments and any other special medical care the pet has needed. All pets are given a clean bill of health by a licensed veterinarian prior to being released for adoption. CPR adopters may also receive a 30 day gift of pet insurance from 24PetWatch.
If interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website.
Coastal Pet Rescue does not operate a shelter. All our pets are in foster homes. Appointments to see pets may be made once an adoption application has been completed and reviewed.
If you are interested in a pet with litter mates, please include a second choice as we review applications in the order they are received, and your choice may already have an application pending review.
If you have specific questions regarding adoption, please review our Adoption FAQ page as most all questions have been answered there. Due to the high volume of emails received each day, you will get a faster response from our FAQ page.
Please note: all pets must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption in accordance with Georgia Department of Agriculture and state mandates. Adoption deposits must be made to hold a pet for adoption until the spay/neuter is complete.
