Rescue groups welcome. Most adult dogs are already fully vetted......Transports also available.

The Washington-Wilkes Animal shelter is the animal control shelter for the city of Washington, GA and Wilkes County.
Adopting a friend
There is a $100.00 adoption fee for dogs, and a $80.00 adoption fee for cats.
Come Visit Us!
The shelter is located in Washington, GA--about forty miles east of Athens on highway 78. The shelter is open Tuesday - Saturday 9 a.m until 2 p.m.
Arrangements can be made at other times for adoptions or rescues..
