Second Chance Animal Sanctuary, Inc. is a non-profit,
no-kill, pet rescue organization, comprised of volunteers who are
committed to giving abandoned, unwanted pets the chance they deserve. We are based in Blue Ridge, GA.
Second Chance receives no state, federal or county financial assistance. Our resources are dependent on donations, fund raisers, adoption fees and pet sponsors.
We do have an adoption fee, of $135.00 which includes spay/neuter and
vetting. The cost for a cat is less. Please inquire to the feline adoption coordinator the adoption cost for the cat you are interested in as they costs do vary. We ask that you fill out at an application, and if you decide to get
the animal, we have you fill out a contract.

The funds we receive help to provide for the care and welfare of the animals in our system. Our pets are spayed or neutered as well as checked for heartworms or leukemia prior to adoption. The pets receive appropriate vaccinations and are dewormed.
Veterinary intervention is utilized as needed in cases of sickness or injury. Our expenses are numerous in caring for the health, nurturing and well being of these abandoned animals.
