Southeast Pug Rescue Adoption, Inc. was formed in 1990 to aid in placing lost, surrendered or abandoned pugs in loving, caring homes primarily in the Southeast. We cover GA, SC, TN, AL, FL, & MO. We are an all volunteer, 501(c)(3), not for profit organization dedicated to our pugs. SEPRA will take any and all pugs regardless of age, health and/or temperament, and also takes pug mixes. Our pugs come from a variety of avenues including shelters, surrenders, and even found wandering down the streets.
All pugs are placed in foster care with dedicated volunteers for evaluation and vet-work, which includes: shots, spaying/neutering and treatment for any illnesses, if necessary. We've had many come through with heartworms, hip problems, eye problems, broken limbs etc. We will treat all. Due to this, there is an adoption fee to help recover the never ending vet bills (donations are also gladly accepted as well.)
Adopting a Friend
If you are interested in adopting a pug for your friend for life, please visit our web site
Southeast Pug Rescue Adoption Home Page and fill out an application. An application has to be filled out to be considered for adoption. We don't ship dogs. If you are from out of state, you will need to make provisions to pick up the dog by car or plane.
You can also see a list of current pugs up for adoption and some past pugs we have adopted to get an idea of the types of dogs we get in.
Volunteering and Donations
We are in desperate need of foster homes in the Georgia and Missouri areas as the pugs just keep coming in! If you are interested in fostering, please go to our web site and fill out an application: Southeast Pug Rescue Adoption Home Page
Donations are also glady welcomed! Please mail to the address below.
