We are constantly meeting so many wonderful people in our community. Please, if you are considering a new fur-member for your family, do consider adopting. We strive to teach everyone about the over-population due to not having your cat or dog spayed or neutered. Also, the ounce of prevention in treating for heartworm on a monthly basis out weighs the costly treatment to cure this easily preventable disease.
Thanks to all who help our mission of re-homing pets in need, as well as all of you who generously gave either directly to us, or who gave our rescued pets a forever home-all of you are truly deserving of many thanks!
A Humane Society of Central Florida Pet Rescue INC. does home visits prior to adoptions, therefore, WE CAN ONLY ADOPT TO CITRUS COUNTY and IMMEDIATLY ADJOINING county areas. All of our dogs and cats etc will have been sterilized, tested negative for heart worm, on heart worm prevention, on flea prevention, up to date on vaccines, wormed, ID chipped and vet checked. The birds will have been checked accordingly by our veterinarian. Contact us via phone 352-527-9050, LOUDLY AND CLEARLY state your name, number, and purpose for your call. Please wait for a return call from the foster family or a volunteer will call as soon as possible.
A Humane Society of Central Florida Pet Rescue Inc is located in Beverly Hills, Fl and is a No Kill, Non-Profit Organization dedicated to rescuing and caring for small dogs, cats and birds. It is founded by dedicated, experienced, and caring volunteers. Our animals come to us primarily from families whom can no longer take care of their pets whether from financial difficulties, loss of a loved one, or having to relocate to another area. We also save dogs and cats from shelters where they are at a risk for euthanasia. Pets are temporarily housed by volunteer foster moms and dads in private homes. The pets' temperament and health can then be evaluated to fit a potential permanent owner's or family's specific needs and lifestyle.
We are always at the PetSuper Market in Inverness on Saturdays from 10am to 1:00PM. Most of the dogs we have available for adoption are there for you to meet! Any that may not be there are adjusting to a new foster family and may be shy or just recently undergone a medical procedure. Come See Us! PS: Sorry, we will not be there until the New Year! If you call us because you are interested in adopting, we will be happy to set up a meeting!
