We have been volunteering & fostering animals since 2000 through other organizations (Manatee & Sarasota Humane Society, Underdog Rescue, Sarasota Animal Services) and found the need to rescue more animals so we got our not for profit designation (501c3) in January 2009 and have saved over 1500 animals so far. We rescue animals from Manatee Animal Services, the public and other sources, all animals that deserve a chance at a normal life with a special family. Our "speciality" is puppies & kittens but will take any animal in need, regardless of breed. When we pick up an animal we bathe, give worm & flea meds, shots, socialize & spay/neuter, microchip, and find loving homes. It is a labor of love.
